Description

Here we have a Vintage cow creamer; ceramic, muted colors; Japan. The creamer features a ceramic cow. The tail forms the handle. He is mainly brown which mutes into white ish colors in the face and front of chest. Pinks, blues, blacks and yellows are also present. He is in good condition with no chips or cracks. He is finely crazed throughout the piece. The inside can use a cleaning. He has a few large drip marks in the head cavity; made that way; see pics. He has glaze flaws, lumps, pin holes, color inconsistencies, especially on his backside near the handle; see pics. There is a flaw in the rope around his neck near the handle; a light blue rough spot with a bunch of white dots next to it; see pics. The bottom has glaze clumps, some appear to be chips. Clumps next to it from the chip. Made that way all around the bottom. It's black stamped Japan. The back near handle has color flaw lines; see pics. Made that way. Measures 8.5" X 3.25" X 5.75" X 1.75" opening on back side.
